Christopher Isherwood

​Christopher Isherwood was an English-American novelist. His best-known works include The Berlin Stories, two semi-autobiographical novellas inspired by Isherwood's time in Weimar Republic Germany, when the rise of Hitler was leading to the persecution and death of homosexuals.
