Voices of Solidarity is Rainbow Advocacy’s global storytelling and dialogue platform, dedicated to amplifying LGBTQ+ voices, lived experience, and human-rights perspectives across borders.

Through conversations, writing, youth media, and public programs, Voices of Solidarity creates space for reflection, connection, and shared understanding—especially in moments of global tension, transition, or celebration.

This work recognizes storytelling not as commentary, but as participation in shaping culture and conscience.

Voices of Solidarity brings together artists, writers, youth, educators, and community leaders to share stories grounded in lived experience.

Our work includes:

  • Interviews and conversations with LGBTQ+ leaders, artists, and advocates

  • Youth storytelling and media projects

  • Essays, reflections, and collaborative writing

  • Public dialogues connected to global Pride and human-rights milestones

  • Programs aligned with WorldPride and international gatherings

The focus is not speed or spectacle, but clarity, care, and continuity.

What Voices of Solidarity Does

A Platform for Global Exchange

Voices of Solidarity is intentionally global.

Stories and conversations reflect a wide range of cultural, political, and social realities—recognizing that LGBTQ+ lives are shaped differently across regions, generations, and legal contexts.

Rather than presenting a single narrative, the platform holds space for many voices to coexist, sometimes in tension, always in dialogue.

Connection to OUR PRIDE and WorldPride

Voices of Solidarity operates as a core part of OUR PRIDE in Action, extending Pride beyond parades and events into sustained conversation and reflection.

The platform also supports WorldPride-connected programming, including live and recorded conversations, writing, and youth engagement tied to WorldPride gatherings and global milestones.

In this way, Voices of Solidarity helps transform moments of visibility into opportunities for deeper understanding and shared responsibility.

Where to Find Voices of Solidarity

Voices of Solidarity appears across multiple formats, including:

  • Publishing projects through Rainbow Advocacy Press

  • Podcasts, newsletters, and digital storytelling

  • Live and virtual events

  • Educational and youth-centered media initiatives

Each format is designed to meet people where they are—locally and globally.

Why This Work Matters

In times of rapid change, fear, or fragmentation, solidarity is not assumed—it is practiced.

Voices of Solidarity exists to practice that solidarity through listening, storytelling, and honest exchange. It affirms that dignity is strengthened when people are seen, heard, and connected across difference.
