Partners & Collaborations

Rainbow Advocacy’s work is built through collaboration. We partner with Pride organizations, artists, educators, cultural institutions, and community leaders who share a commitment to dignity, human rights, and collective responsibility.

Rather than operating large in-house programs, Rainbow Advocacy works as a connector—supporting and amplifying work already happening within communities through creative platforms, publishing, education, and long-term initiatives.

How We Approach Partnership

We believe effective partnerships are grounded in trust, clarity, and mutual respect.

Our collaborations are guided by:

  • Alignment with human rights principles

  • Respect for lived experience and community leadership

  • Shared authorship and credit

  • Long-term relationship-building rather than one-off transactions

Partnerships are not extractive or performative. They are shaped in dialogue and designed to serve both local context and broader movement goals.

Areas of Collaboration

Rainbow Advocacy collaborates across several interconnected areas:

Pride & Cultural Organizations

We work alongside Pride organizations to support programming that extends beyond celebration—creating space for reflection, education, and cultural context.

Rainbow Advocacy is a proud member of InterPride and USA Prides, and we value collaboration across local, national, and global Pride networks.

Arts, Education & Storytelling

Through initiatives such as OUR PRIDE in Action, Flag50, and Rainbow Advocacy Press, we collaborate on:

  • Arts installations and cultural programs

  • Educational resources and public conversations

  • Publishing and storytelling projects

  • Youth and intergenerational engagement

Community-Centered Partnerships

We partner with grassroots organizations, artists, and community leaders advancing dignity, safety, and human rights in their own contexts. Support may include:

  • Micro-grants and direct support

  • Collaborative creative projects

  • Publishing and platform access

  • Capacity-building and shared visibility

How Partnerships Take Shape

Each partnership is unique. Collaboration may involve:

  • Co-developing a creative or educational project

  • Contributing to an existing initiative such as Flag50

  • Participating in OUR PRIDE programming or storytelling platforms

  • Exploring publishing opportunities through Rainbow Advocacy Press

We prioritize partnerships that allow collaborators to shape their own contributions while participating in a shared ethical framework.

A Shared Ecosystem

Our programs are intentionally interconnected.

Work developed through Pride partnerships may inform publishing. Cultural projects may feed into education or youth engagement. Global initiatives such as Flag50 provide a shared framework that partners can interpret locally.

This ecosystem model allows impact to grow organically—guided by communities, not imposed by structure.

Looking Forward

As the LGBTQ+ Pride movement continues to evolve, Rainbow Advocacy remains committed to collaboration that is thoughtful, principled, and grounded in care.

We are especially interested in partnerships that:

  • Center inclusion and underrepresented voices

  • Support youth leadership and intergenerational exchange

  • Strengthen cross-border and cross-cultural connection

  • Steward Pride’s history with responsibility and integrity
