Julie Sandler (she/her) is a New York-based filmmaker and actor. She currently works as an Impact Producer on several documentaries, such as Cured, an Emmy-nominated film that premiered on PBS in 2021; Holding Moses, an Oscar Shortlisted film; Anxiety Club; Outcry: Alchemists of Rage and others. | Julie is also the Associate Producer for This is This: The Incredible Journey of Weather Report, a documentary that tells the story of the jazz fusion band, Weather Report; and the NYC-based Production Coordinator for Joe Zawinul’s Music Odyssey, a concert film chronicling the rehearsal process and performance of a selection of Joe Zawinul’s musical work. Julie is a Vassar College graduate and a recipient of the David C. Magid Memorial Prize in Cinematography, which she received for her achievements in cinematography and film studies at Vassar |
