Prof. MsC Benedito Leite de Souza Júnior is an educator, researcher, and human rights advocate dedicated to advancing LGBTQIAPN+ rights in Northeastern Brazil. He serves on Pernambuco’s State Council for LGBTQIAPN+ Rights and collaborates with the Sexual and Gender Diversity Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB-PE). A former Benedictine monk, he is now a Celtic monk in the Anamchara Fellowship and continues to work at the intersection of education, faith, and human rights advocacy.
