Maria Castells Giralt

Vice President of Pride Barcelona and the LGBTQIA+ Chamber of Catalonia, and Director of the Social Area of Pride Barcelona. She participated in the first gay pride march in Spain, organized in Barcelona in June 1977, and that same year founded the Col·lectiu de Lesbianes (Lesbian Collective). In 2013, she founded the Gender and LGBT Lab association (which includes the online platform Gayles.tv and the LGBTQIA+ perspective children's videos: ladiferencia.cat).
