DOCUMENTARY: “Queer2Queer” (USA) PRODUCERS: The Future Perfect Productions + CURED Documentary Team

A 4-part short film series featuring powerful intergenerational conversations between LGBTQIA+ youth and elder activists. In each of these four episodes, two inspiring change-makers come together to share wisdom, personal stories and hopes for the future. These heartfelt and uplifting conversations build connections between generations while fostering a deeper sense of our community’s shared values.


VIDEO POETRY: "We Are Not Criminals" (TANZANIA)

WRITER / DIRECTORS: Omary Baajun + Brother Zaheed

A trilogy of poetry short films that boldly call for dignity, visibility and equal rights for those pushed to the margins. It is a creation of "Unmute," a spoken word project which challenges prejudice and celebrates the power of poetry to reclaim identity and belonging with a call for dignity, visibility and human rights.


VIDEO POETRY: "UNSAID: Hairitage" (USA / NIGERIA)

DIRECTOR: Ayodeji Otuyelu

A series of visual adaptations of poems from the book “Words In My Head” by director Ayodeji Otuyelo which explore emotions surrounding gender, sexual orientation, blackness and feminism through the eye of a gay director from the homophobic African country Nigeria. “Hairitage” celebrates black beauty.DETAILS: ourpride.org/post/ayodej
