The impacts behind this report are the conviction that ALL ADVERSE IMPACTS of the Anti-Homosexuality Act 2023 onto the lives and livelihoods of LGBTQIA+ community in Uganda should be documented and acknowledged.  

 

The collective experiences of the adverse impacts of the Anti-Homosexuality Act 2023 onto the LGBTQIA+ livelihoods in Uganda that form the basis of this report will be used to educate the public, religious leaders, civil society, media, state agencies, and the international community. 

 

The goal is to inform policies and policy makers in Uganda of the pervasiveness and consequences of the Anti- Homosexuality 2023 on the lives and livelihoods of LGBTQIA+ individuals in Uganda.
